What do Krankin’ Kids Need?

· A Mountain bike: This should be in good working order. Brakes and gears working, off road tyres. Our coaches are unable to fix any pre-existing problems with bikes during the sessions. If any bikes are in need of maintenance, we can point you in the direction of some great local shops!

· Protective gear - A safe and well-fitting helmet is compulsory. We also recommend full finger gloves, knee and elbow pads (for the more experienced riders).

· Water, and snacks to keep the rider fuelled and hydrated for the session. It is ideal if the rider can carry these themselves i.e. in a hydration pack or water bottle holder on their bike. The session is not long but your young rider will be concentrating & working hard so water & a little snack is useful.

· Warm layers that can be put on toward the end of the session if needed and a rain jacket just in case!

· Positivity and a big smile!
